Verwoerdburg Lake
With the establishment of Verwoerdburgstad this beautiful man-made lake was created on the banks of the Hennops River.
The lake is 7,5 ha in size, with a length of 600 m and a width which varies between 75 and 150 m, and an average depth of 2,4 m.
The area below the bridge appears to be very popular for functions, "potjiekos" competitions and other outdoor events.
