Civil Defense
The civil defense function rests with the Town Council. It is primarily a support service to combat civil disturbance during natural disasters and hostile action, and creates a feeling of safety and security among residents. A variety of courses are offered to members of the public, i.e. first aid, fire prevention, safety regulations etc.
