Electricity Meter Testing
When a consumer suspects his/her electricity meter to be out of order or inaccurate, application can be made to have the meter tested by the Electricity Department. The testing will be carried out after a fee (as determined in the Electricity Tariff) has been paid. If it should be found that the meter registers more than 5% too fast or too slow, the consumer's account wil be credited with the test fee paid.
